On your device
Your goals, achievements and settings are stored on your device and in your iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage), so they come back after a reinstall. We have no access to your iCloud data.
When you enter an email
Entering an email is optional. It is used only to send you one “letter from the past” a year, on January 1, with your goals and achievements for the year that ended. While an email is set, the app stores on our server (Google Firebase Cloud Firestore):
- the email address;
- your goals: title, description, deadline, creation date, status and year;
- your achievements: text and year;
- your time zone and language, to send the letter at 11:00 your time in your language;
- a random identifier derived from a key the app keeps in your iCloud Keychain, so your devices and reinstalls share one copy. It is not linked to your name or Apple ID.
The letter is delivered through Resend, which receives the address and the letter's content for that purpose.
Analytics
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to count how features are used, for example how many goals are added. It collects app usage events and device information such as model and system version. It does not use the advertising identifier.
What we do not do
There are no ads in the app. We do not sell or share your data with anyone except the processors named above, who handle it on our behalf.
Deleting your data
- Settings → tap your email → “Delete my data” removes your email and every server copy of your goals and achievements.
- The “Unsubscribe” link in a letter stops letters to that address.
- Deleting the app removes the data on your device. Data in iCloud can be removed in your iCloud settings.
